Cyber Crime continuous to show different facets with each day that passes. Cyber criminals are always finding new ways of organizing themselves and targeting new users and new platforms. On line transaction-based activities continue to be the most exploited, and hactivism related attacks continue to rise as way to commit corporate espionage, push particular agendas or cause reputational damage. In short, it is the new challenge for law enforcement, pursuit of which is going to take considerable effort.
National Cyber Safety and Security Standards was also conducted NC4S Summit-2013 to provide Cyber Security awareness to the academic Institutions and corporate organizations to protect their infrastructure from cyber threats. In the summit the discussion is about the following topics namely, Strengthening National Security, Protecting e-governance Infrastructure, Cyber Crime Control and Investigation, Securing Corporate – Assets and Infrastructure, Security in the Cloud and Protecting the Indian Citizen.
